Mission for a Healthy Nation

Gonoshasthaya Pharmaceuticals Limited (GPL) and Gonoshasthaya Antibiotics Limited (GAL) are the assets of the society and hence the nation. These two companies were developed not for the sake of business and making monetary profits only. Most of the profits of these companies are spent for development and expansion of the factory, training and education of the workers. The rest are allocated for dividend, public welfare projects, research for developing science and technology in Bangladesh.
So, the money a customer pays for purchasing products from GPL and GAL ultimately goes for the benefit of the people of Bangladesh which leads to building a better Bangladesh.

Principles of GPL and GAL
  • Never to push the people for unnecessary prescriptions and force the customers to buy products from GPL and GAL unnecessarily.
  • Never to make the distribution of the products of GPL and GAL a monopoly of a few distributors.
To oppose abuse of medicines, keep the public informed of beneficial and harmful effects of medicines and their possible misuse and people's role regarding the matters.
  • To produce drugs on the basis of disease-need of the unprivileged or underprivileged people rather than on the basis of marketability only.
